Jill's Bio

While Jill now lives with my husband in Sterling, she have roots in Prince William.  Jill moved to Quantico in 1978, and she is a graduate of WSHS, c/o 1986.  The summer before her senior year, Jill worked at the Lazy Susan Dinner Theatre.  Jill was totally and completely in love with the idea of 'dinner & a show'.  While Jill never performed at the theatre, she enjoyed my summers there.  Jill graduated from JMU with a BS in chemistry, even though she began her career as a music education major.  She was in the flute and oboe studios, and performed with the Marching Royal Dukes for three years. After graduating, Jill  worked in an electron microscopy lab for 3 years while attending GMU getting her MEd in curriculum and instruction.  Jill  started teaching high school in 1993.  Jill did the occasional show here and there, Shenandoah with TAP and The Sound of Music (CAST of McLean).  After that Jill started working in the evenings, and theatre was out of the picture.  When Jill and Carlos started dating in 2016, an old flame came back:  Jill fell in love with the theatre again.  Jill is currently working on her second show with PWLT and hopes she will be a valued of the PWLT Board of Directors.
