George Fulda

George's Bio

George's greatest joy is being married to his talented wife Samantha and father of his amazing kids, Alex and Lili. Professionally, he has been an arts, technology and leadership educator for over 30 years. His day job is as a center director for learning platform and systems at the Defense Acquisition University. Additionally, he is the Director of Music Ministry at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Haymarket, and adjunct faculty in the Digital Education department at UMGC. Within the community, he has been active as a leader in the Boy Scouts for many years, donated time and talent to various efforts at PWCS schools, teaches piano/voice lessons, and is heavily involved at his church. He studied Russian Theater at Georgetown, Music Education and Fairmont State, and received his Masters and Doctorate degrees in Higher Education Leadership at West Virginia University.

Artistically, George has been involved in Music and Theater since childhood. He has served as director for many adult and children's choirs, occasional composer, and has performed with multiple ensembles (generally as a pianist, but likes to dabble with percussion and bass) in venues ranging from parking lots during the COVID pandemic to the Kennedy Center. Theatrically, he has primarily been found behind the keyboard or baton as musical/vocal director in dozens of productions, but also loves acting, lighting, and is dangerous with a hammer.
