Bob Thompson - Candidate for President

Bob's Personal Statement

My name is Bob Thompson and I am running for President of Prince William Little Theatre. I have been a member of PWLT for five years now, the last two serving on the board as an at-large member, Community Outreach Chairman, and Prince William Arts Council representative. My years of experience in the Marketing and Graphic Design field has enabled me to work alongside current President Becky Gould-Levine to create and successfully market high-end graphics for social media, show posters, banners and brochures to advertise all of PWLT productions and events. I have also been involved in every PWLT set load-in and strike in the last few years, knowing the teamwork needed from volunteers to get it done quickly and safely.

As an actor I have been on the stage or behind it with just about every community theater group in Northern Virginia for the last 25 years. With each stop I have learned new details and successful ways that each group has of doing things and have brought them with me to share.

Professionally I have been a Creative Director, Art Director, project manager, team leader and mentor to junior designers, and I have led many award-winning teams in creating and presenting successful marketing campaigns for our clients.
I am a firm believer in communication and transparency at all levels and I pledge to continue that practice at Prince William Little Theatre going forward.
