Nicholas Mastrangelo - Candidate for Treasurer
Nicholas's Personal Statement
Nick feels strongly in PWLT's Core values, which define its inclusive and diverse culture and will not tolerate discrimination based on race, gender, age, sexual orientation or religious affiliation. Nick believes strongly that how a organization conducts business defines what a organization accomplishes in the long term. Nick's primary goal as Treasurer is to continue to work initiatives that make PWLT an organization in which everyone can be proud to be a member, while protecting PWLT's relevancy, reputation and financial stability. Nick served as PWLT's Secretary from 2017 to 2018, and has served as PWLT's Treasurer the past four years. During this time, Nick's most notable accomplishments include modernizing PWLT's finances, leading the grant submissions for Prince William County and the City of Manassas for past five years, developing PWLT's sponsorship program, creating PWLT's current membership policy, and creating PWLT's Strategic Plan and growth strategy.

Nicholas's Bio
Mr. Mastrangelo is a Principal Systems Engineer/Cloud Architect for Lockheed Martin Corporation. During his 29+ year tenure with Lockheed Martin, he has held several leadership positions in the areas of Systems Engineering, Project Engineering, Business Development, and Business Operations. Mr. Mastrangelo is a subject matter expert in the areas of Cloud Computing and Cybersecurity while serving as the lead infrastructure and cyber security architect for one of Lockheed Martin's programs. Mr. Mastrangelo has also previously served on the Board of Directors for Forever Oceans, a spin-off of the Lockheed Martin Aquaculture Line of Business.
Since moving to Virginia in 2010, Mr. Mastrangelo has been actively involved in set construction and design for several PWLT productions, and has been recognized by DCMetroArts for excellence in set design. Mr. Mastrangelo was the set designer for many PWLT productions, including Barnum, 9 to 5: The Musical, It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play, Anne of Green Gables, Judgement at Nuremberg, and A Charlie Brown Christmas. Dial "M" for Murder, A Christmas Carol, and Sister Act. Mr. Mastrangelo as also served in other production capacities over the years including producer, light board operator, and follow sport operator.
Prior to moving to Virginia, he served on the board of directors for his community’s homeowner’s association and held board positions of both President and Treasurer during his five year association with that organization. Mr. Mastrangelo holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from Lafayette College with a minor in Mathematics and a concentration in Business, and continues to hold a CISSP certification.
