“The Diary of Anne Frank” is a play by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett, newly adapted by Wendy Kesselman.

Rights made available by Dramatists Play Service.

SYNOPSIS
The harrowing story of a young Jewish girl who, with her family and their friends, is forced into hiding in an attic in Nazi-occupied Amsterdam, and tells her story through the thing she holds most dear to her; her diary.

FOOD DRIVE
During the run of PWLT’s production of The Diary of Anne Frank, Prince William Little Theatre and the Hylton Performing Arts Center have partnered for a FOOD DRIVE to help those in need in our community.  Action in Community Through Service (ACTS) has a critical need of all canned goods and cereal for their pantry. Many of their shelves are almost completely empty. Please bring your canned goods and cereals to the Hylton Performing Arts Center when you come to see the show. There will be a table set up for you to leave your donations.
In the words of Anne Frank,
“How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before beginning to improve the world.”

"For the acting, the story-telling, the spectacle, and most importantly, for the reminder of the importance and beauty of this play’s message, I recommend seeing this production." - Chuck Leonard DC Metro Theater Arts
