Tales of Redemption
2026-2027 Season

Picture
George Schneider, a recently widowed novelist, and Jennie Malone, a recently divorced soap opera actress, are reluctantly set up on a blind date. George is still deeply affected by his wife’s death, and Jennie wonders if she can find happiness again after her marriage ends. Surprisingly, the date goes well, and within two weeks they make plans...to get married! George's brother Leo and Jennie's best friend Faye round out the cast, offering their not so stellar advice while dealing with their own marriage issues in a farcical subplot. Deftly written with grace, humor and a firsthand understanding of second chances, Simon's semi- autobiographical characters deal with universal issues of love, loss, and life in a touching and often hilarious manner.
