David Ritchey - Candidate for Treasurer

David's Personal Statement

David A. Ritchey has worked with many Northern Virginia community theater groups in backstage capacities over the past 30-plus years, including The Arlington Players (co-producer with his wife Terri), Little Theater of Alexandria (Stage Manager), Port City Playhouse (Stage Manager, sound and light board operator, set construction), Fauquier Community Theater (Stage Manager and set construction), Vienna Theater Company (Stage Manager, set construction, and redesign of VTC’s website), and Prince William Little Theatre (Assistant Stage Manager, set design and construction, and website contributor). He is completing a term as 2024-25 Treasurer for PWLT.

He retired from his position as Executive Director of the Association of Teacher Educators in 2022, a position he had held since 2003. He had more than 30 years experience with nonprofit associations and received the Certified Association Executive designation from the American Society of Association Executives.
